Echo 310 or 3510 - Which Do I Go With?

Hi all!

My first time here and first time posting. I'm looking to get a 16" Echo chainsaw. I've researched the heck out of the 310 and the 3510 models and am torn which one to go with. The price difference is $80.

The saw will be primarily used for cutting up fallen limbs, nothing special at all. I am no Paul Bunyan falling trees on a daily basis, if at all lol.

What I do like about the 3510 is the better air filter design (easer to replace) and the spring back on/off switch compared to the 310's toggle. The 3510 also conveniently placed the fuel lines so they are quite easy to replace which in the future can be pretty important and save headaches. I'm just still not convinced as a home owner just cutting up smaller stuff is worth the $80. Would love feedback!

also take a look at stihl.
most brands have a pro line that will last a life time.
and hold value as used

also look at dewalt and a few other brands they have battery saws that work well for emergency tree work.

the lower cost saws are ok if you want a disposable saw.
Thanks. I am anti battery. The batteries won't last long and they cost as much as the initial cost to replace.

Echo advertises the 3510 as part of there professional series. Or it's total malarkey.

My vote is for echo 310. It is best for homeowner use. Secondly, you are also not in favour of battery-powered chainsaws. So, 310 chainsaw is best choice to go as it is gasoline powered and perfect for small to medium sized jobs.
I love the concept behind electric powered chainsaws but when the battery goes bad in 5 years, and it costs $150+ for a replacement battery, that's hard to chew on. With a gas saw, if I care for it, it will way outlast any lithium battery.
