Hi guys,

Have a hot water pressure washer with heating coil. Need to winterize it as it will be stored in the negative temperatures of cold Canadian winters. I was looking at using RV antifreeze, as that is what I believe EasyKleen recommends to use, but as I was reading the jug (from multiple brands), it clearly says on it to not use with metal pipes, plastic only.

I thought about windshield washer fluid (-40c) as an alternative...but not sure if it has the same limitations. Do I have to be careful because it evaporates?

Thoughts on this?

yup...
use an air compressor with a pressure reg set down to 40 psi.
and use the blow down adapter.
then use pump saver foam in the compressor only.

the rv anifreeze we get here in the states works well with power washers.
fvp is the brand name, menards is where we get it here.

most of this stuff works down to -40 deg

do the blow down.
