Hello. I am not sure that the throttle governor rod on my generator is attached correctly. It had fallen off while I was installing a fuel conversion kit. Can someone who owns the same generator take a picture of their throttle governor rod so that I can see how it is supposed to be attached to the black plastic cap? Thank you very much for your help.

I don't have that generator, but I don't think that is correct. The rod should be between the two black fingers, so it needs to drop down.

Yeah it’s not in the right position. You will likely have to remove the carb to position the rod between the fingers so it’s locked in. Also there is usually a spring that is slid over the rod and attached at the carb and governor arm.
