I am.working with a Honda 2" ( WB20X ) water pumb . Can I increase the suction head ( 8 m. Max when using a 2" suction pipe ) by using a 1 1/2" suction pipe . ( My expectation this will increase the suction head to 14 m. )

try going a 3 inch dia on the suction.

we use pacer pumps in the gold recovery operation dredges.
they are 2 inch....
we get 50 psi off those!
nice for fire control! use the china made fire nozzle and it will shoot 1/8 mile!
i need to shoot video of that...
it is the way we test run pumps at the first of the season...

or you can go a 100 gallon tank and a second pump to 2 stage the lift...
