I think he meant to replace the whole line not the entire trimmer. Do you replace everything when it just needs a 25 cent part? You're going to spend a lot of money doing it your way. Not efficient.I agree that it is better to replace it. If you are good with repairing it, or you know someone who can repair it, then do it, if not, replace it. My advice would be replacing it anyway, if it's leaking, something's wrong with it, and it might be dangerous to use it. I have a cordless trimmer, and it's great. I've gotten it on Amazon a few months ago. Man, you can find anything on that website now, it's not crazy that Bezos is the richest man in the World... Getting a new trimmer would be the best option for you, you can't be repairing something a hundred times.
