A engine is much stronger than your rist/arm if you dont remove the drill fast enough.
And that's why you use the ratchet adapter as a clutch...

it still is best to seek out a gen with electric start...
most gx hondas have electric start as an option.

and the kit runs retail $100-200 usd
not bad for an engine that retails for 700-900 usd on the single cyl units.

in the service shop...
that is where drill start is handy...
i would not run any engines with out the shrouds or covers where little fingers can get in!

I couldn't have a gen without a electric start, as I cannot pull the rope quick enough to start the engine.... You can get easy starts though, where you don't have to pull the rope fast.
