Have a Craftsman PW and there is nothing in the owner's manual about pump oil change. Set screw at bottom of picture looks like it could be a drain plug. Anyone worked on these?

You're right, there's likely oil inside.
I don't know the pump but if the engine is a B&S it could be a pump by Italian manufacturer Annovi Reverberi. They recommend changing oil yearly with a their 'special' mineral oil-based oil.
You can find and purchase this oil from the annovi reverberi website.

i use this power washer pump oil in the fleet
and change every fall or end of season.
Apache Pressure Washer Pump Oil

Model Number: 99002126 Menards® SKU: 2611479
it works well!!
and use this for end of season for when it gets cold out
Generac® Power Washer Pump Shield

Model Number: 6657 Menards® SKU: 2611629
that pump shield will save your pump from cracking from ice in winter storage.
i also use and air compressor regulated to 40 psi to blow out the system at the end of season as well
with this adapter
Masterforce® 3/4" NPT Water Line Blow Out Fitting

Model Number: IP1434MB Menards® SKU: 2074681
it is cheap insurance to make sure it works next season.
and saves you cash as a new pump is 200.00 bucks or more!!

also remember to change your oil in your electric air compressor every year as well!!
i use this stuff
Sanborn® Full Synthetic Air Compressor Oil - Quart

Model Number: P018-0086SN Menards® SKU: 2072724
