I have a Champion Dual Fuel 2000 watt Generator. Has anyone bought a extension propane hose? I bought one but the quick disconnect does not want to connect to the extension. Which one worked for you?

well there is a difference in the fittings and hoses from vapor to liquid.
what is your exact generator model number? we need the btu ratings on the gen.
and is this to run off the camper's grill fittings on the side of the camper?
and what size bottles on the camper?
just remember that a generator on LP is thirsty!!
most use the dual 30 lb tanks or larger like the 100 lb tanks.

the fumes are better when you burn the lp or ng..
that is the only thing i like about doing it as a fuel for camping..
there is more btu per LB on gasoline..

last i knew they were using vapor fittings at the generators.
so you need a high pressure regulator off the campers 1/4 fitting to regulate down
then a 3/8 fitting should be on the gen set, be sure to use 1/2 inch id hose after the high to low pressure regulator.
i will pm you

if you do not have a micro air soft start for the ac unit you will need one unless you are planning on 2 of these..
12 amps running watts on lp...
most ac units are 13.5 running plus the charger on the rv..
the link for the soft start is on this page

COOOL!
yea the easy start units are a dream!!
they sure do help on the pesky in rush.
did you see the gen mounts they are making that will mount the generator over the tanks on an rv?
kinda cool concept..
if the rv is tight..
most of these little gens are so quiet you need to make sure they have a cable chain on them grin!!
they can sneek off on you!!

i have a few clients that go to the iowa state fair (kinda the super bowl of fairs here)
and they have rules now on quiet time..
the neat thing we have made custom quiet boxes that the crickets and frogs are louder!! lol!!
the lp generator is a cool concept as the fumes are not there like on gasoline.
the giveaway is the large 100 lb tanks.

but they have folks doing the water, sewer, LP vending up there now.
kinda cool!
a truck drives in the camp area about 10 am doing lp tank fills.
and the prices were not too bad!!

they do the same stuff for the desert folks too.
honey wagon, and a big water truck, and a LP truck.
there was a cool setup with food like a rolling grocery store.
and you could place standing orders with them too for long stays.

lol the ice cream truck did well!! GRIN!!
