Sadly I trust the wrong person gas mix last spring and wound up smoking my cylinder and piston in my Husqvarna 346 XP that I had bought a couple of years earlier. I looked online and it looks like a new cylinder and piston will run me about 260-300. At this price, I'm wondering if there is perhaps a larger cylinder I can buy that would give me added power. Any thoughts on something that would fit this saw?

Tim the Tool Man strikes again. If you want it to work right, start right and live a long time just use the stock parts. If you put a bigger jug on it it would also require increased fuel which means bigger carburetor and exhaust system. By the time you finish buying all the things necessary it would just be cheaper to buy a new saw. Roger

The 346xp is a great saw in stock form. open up the muffler to let it breath, and remove the limiters on the h/l mix screws, to "fatten" it up, it makes a noticible difference. It will void warranties tho.
