right now i'm repairing a genny for a non profit group and working with parts suppliers so it doesn't cost the non-profit anything to fix their genny, but this has got me wanting a genny because it would be very handy for alot of the projects that i have at my place and my grandma's place. so anybody have one running or not for a decent price

Can you quote a specific site or is that allowed here? I am new to this forum and my goal is to get educated on quality Generators and find a used 6000 watt or more to use for Amateur Radio emergencies. I live in So Cal and don't mind driving up to 100 miles if necessary to look at one. Also, for some reason, all the new propane ones cannot be sold in CA. Does anyone know why?
