I ran across Medzaro.com and see generators there that are offered for about 1/3 the list price. I'm trying to figure out what the catch is. Anyone shopped there before? Is it legit? Are the products counterfeit? refurbs? used?

Their encryption certificate name registration is incomplete as in no organization name or other information helpful to locate them. Their domain name is registered as private. They are trying to make it difficult to locate any responsible person or entity.
Buyer beware.

99% of the time if it seems too good to be true then it is not legit.

if you are in the area then i would stop in or call local law enforcement of the biz to ask if they are legit.

now if they are a pawn shop you have to watch for hot goods as well.
receiving stolen goods at the min you are out of the cash and on the worst end of the spectrum can land you in jail.
so best to stick with known local dealers.
or places like northern tool for mail order.

Thanks folks. I did a google search on "medzaro complaints" and didn't get much. This site has a couple user reviews and the only one that looked authentic said it was a scam.

This site gives it a passing grade (78.7/100) but there is something very that seems a bit unconvincing about their rating method.

Based on your advice, the credit card stays in the wallet.

Looks sketchy. I'd avoid, especially so since someone here mentions they lost money to the site.

Rocko, did you report the matter to your credit card company, if you used one? Seems they could do a claw back on the sale.
