Both are good brands, hard to get a pro logger to use anything else, but I lean toward Husqvarna as well. At one time I looked after equipment for a logging company, the fallers were using Husky 272 and Stihl 038. The Husky's did not require as much maintenance and were easier to work on. I was constantly changing AV mounts on the Stihls. Just my 2 cents Canadian worth, your mileage may vary.

Husqvarna over Stihl but I do still have the McCulloch 555 and please to say it is still in working order, but not that good for the ear's...!
