How to control a fan by airflow?

I want a 12v cooling fan to come on when air is flowing through my lines. Not just when the compresso turns on, but when air is moving. Is there a switch that can sense when air is moving through the line and closes as to turn on a cooling fan?

That would be a flow switch... They tend to be quite pricey, and most are meant for liquids.
