Hey guys I was just wondering how long does a rubber fuel pipe/line last on average before splitting and perishing. As Im guessing that will be the first thing to fail on my gen with storing it outside?

On a cheap Chinese generator with cheap materials I’ve seen them crack after a couple years especially if stored In a location exposed to sunlight. On better machines... 10+ years....

The ones on my 1992 Coleman and 1988 Onan are still pristine. On other OPE motors I've had to change them in the 10-15 year range. On outboards, they rarely last more than 5 years.
