Since the eu7000is has been out a number of years now, does anyone know when the next generation is due? My local shop said there may be a 7500 and 10000 coming out in the future but no idea as to date and I find it hard to believe they would know if there is nothing online anywhere.

If they are I imagine they're still doing R & D. Could also be certain build supply issues. Do they even pre-market power equipment these days?

Get you a nice EM6500SX and an eu2200 inverter for less cost than an eu7000. Both are tried and true. The issues that I hear with the 7000, usually due to owner negligence, is turning me away from it for now. Now you have 2 generators… Exactly my setup, Generlink switch for the 6500, and I use less fuel than when I just had an EM5000. 😉
