Hi I have an Honda EU200i and I think since a carburator clean up my generator is not fonctionning properly. when I plug a heat gun it run fine on the the lowest setting but when on the highest setting the engine rpm surge and black smoke and power is on and off cause when surging it almost stop. I've clean the carb several times to be sure, clean air filter, change gas and clean tank and filter, try another spark plug ( and the spark plug tip is black) and i'm sure that the fuel consumption is excessive, also remove and inspect spark arrestor that is in good condition. any other suggestion? and the oil level is ok and also change the electric motor on the carb. I was going to try oil change and valve adjustement.

found the problem! not proud of me at all but if it can help someone else my gasket between intake and carb was not install properly and it was blocking the little hole on right side! now it run's great no more black smoke and run full power
