I have a Honda EM5000is generator (probably 5-7 yrs old) which sat for a few months, I had to open up the carb, clean it, etc etc. I cleaned the bowl, float, jets and reassembled. It appears that both of the connectors to the auto throttle and auto choke are the same, unit will only run with the left/rear connector off (unsure if its the auto choke). Gen will provide power on eco mode and full mode, but concerned this could be an issue in cold temps or other. When I have both connected, she will run for a few seconds then stall. I have tried switching the connections (auto throttle/choke), but doesn't help, she will run wild and smoke and backfire.

Just wondering if anyone has any other ideas, or link to a service manual. Thank you!

yes unfortunately, no labeling, other than a white tape band on one. Anyone have a service manual to help confirm? If I swap the connectors, she runs hot and wild and it appears the auto throttle is on the wrong connector.
