I have a Honda EU300is that produces stable voltage, frequency and power.
The problem with it comes when running devices with electronics, several electronic devices failed when run off this generator. Upon closer inspection with a 1500 watt load{heater} applied and using an oscilloscope I can see steps in the sine wave ramps where I would expect to see smooth lines.
I do not have a service manual for the generator on hand, does anybody have any suggestions on testing or the ability to share information from the Generator service manual.

I am replying to this just so I can get the feed. This is of interest. My gosh the EU line is really good but of course you paid for it. In the years I've had the EU generator I've never challenged it to a max esp with surge loads but I imagine it can happen esp if coming off low idle. My inverter will drop dirty AC in a heartbeat (I've seen it years ago with non-inverter gensets). But I've not seen dirty Hz kicked out ever, or low voltage on the EU series.
I would look at your loads. What happens and when? Well pump or shop loads? The heater? Average draw and then a surge load? If you are measuring this stuff with a scope well dang, what happens if you eliminate shock loads? Do you have soft start devices? I'm sure there are soft start induction heaters but I can't imagine using one.
