Dies if i dont pull the trigger

While running my troy built gas pressure washer it will die if I'm not squeezing the trigger. If I just let the pressure build up it will die. Any idea why?

check the unloader

If you post the Troy-Bilt model number it should be easy to find the unloader for you...

What am I checking for? Or do I just replace it

if you are handy with equipment repair.
make sure the spring is ok as well as the BB.

or sometimes it is best to replace the whole pump with a cat branded pump.

Thanks for the help. That's what it was. I took it apart and adjusted it and now it works as it should.
