Hi I'm new to pressure washing and looking at buying my first model but have a question. Can you flip a switch or close a valve to stop using detergent or do you have to wait for it to run out.
Thanks,

It all depends on what pressure washer you are talking about. Some have multiple detergent tanks so on those yes you turn a knob and it will stop dispensing detergent. Others only have a suction hose for detergent and on those you simply remove the hose from the container of detergent you are using and once the suction line is empty it will stop dispensing the detergent. Although most units will only spray detergent under low pressure so on most models switching from a low pressure tip to a high pressure tip will make the machine stop dispensing detergent.
